Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is recruiting for an EHS Coordinator on a 6-month contract at our pharmaceutical site in Tuas, Singapore. The role focuses on leading safety, health and environmental performance initiatives and maintaining ISO 14001/45001 certifications.

You will coordinate EHS strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, support management in achieving objectives, and drive continuous improvement through reviews and change management.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS coordination, preferably in pharma/healthcare.
• Strong understanding of safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Ability to implement and maintain EHS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site in its journey towards excellence in Safety, Health and Environmental performance.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of the site EHS strategy and programs.
• Ensure compliance with EHS-related legal and corporate requirements.
• Implement, control, maintain and improve the site EHS management systems incl. ISO14001/ISO45001.
• Support Plant/Line management to achieve EHS objectives and promote awareness.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects through EHS reviews and risk assessments.

EHS Coordinator (Pharma/ 6-Month Contract)

• 6 Months Contract (subject to extension)

• Salary: Up to $5,500 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead the site in its journey towards excellence in Safety, Health and Environmental performance by continual improvement to the EHSmanagement system withsupport of Management and engaged Colleagues.
• Co-ordinate the development and implementation of the site EHSstrategy & programs. Align factory EHSobjectives considering Market and Corporate objectives, integrating EHSinto business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with EHS-related legal and corporate requirements.
• Implement, control, maintain and improve the site EHSManagement systems including achieving and maintaining ISO14001 and ISO 45001 certification. Support this through developing and implementing specific tools and initiatives as part of the Factory's EHSprogram
• Provide support to the Plant Manager, Plant Management team and Line Managers in order to achieve the Factory's EHSobjectives and to ensure EHSbecomes / remains a line management responsibility. Ensure that EHSperformance data is available and correctly managed. Promote the awareness of EHS.
• Support the site's Continuous Improvement Projects through EHSReviews, Operational Readiness Reviews, Risk Assessment Reviews, Change Management Reviews, etc.
