Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Network Engineer to design, configure, and deploy LANs/WANs, and to maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers at our Kaki Bukit location.

The role requires hands-on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching, plus familiarity with cloud networking and security policies. CCNA/CCNP and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Experience with network security tools and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus; knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS is a plus.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or JNCIA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and trends.
