Qualifications

• Recognised nursing qualifications.

• Relevant clinical experience preferred, with operating theatre experience an advantage for perioperative nursing duties.
• A patient-focused approach with strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Ability to stay composed, attentive and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support changing operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care.
• Assist with ophthalmic procedures such as eye dressing, eye drops, and blood glucose monitoring.
• Support theatre preparation, circulating duties, anaesthetic care and recovery room activities.
