Seagate Technology Singapore Shugart site is seeking an SMT Process Development Engineer to design, implement and optimize PCB assembly processes for Seagate products. You will work with design, quality and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

You will drive continuous improvement using SPC, DOE, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring high yield, quality, and cycle-time reduction while maintaining IPC standards.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, or related engineering degree required.
• Hands-on, independent work style in fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and optimize SMT processes (paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow, inspection).
• Establish process parameters like stencil design and reflow profiles.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost yield, quality, and cycle time.
• Monitor quality, analyze defects, and implement corrective actions per IPC standards.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation; support NPI.
