Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Business Analyst with banking and payments experience to support payment transformation and modernization initiatives. You will work with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and QA to analyze requirements, document solutions, and support delivery across payment platforms.

The role requires understanding of payment systems, message formats, and the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Payments or banking certification is a plus.
• ISO 20022 knowledge is desirable.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• Able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRS, user stories, and process flows.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs.
• Support impact assessments for new payment products, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs for development/testing teams.
• Understand payment processing workflows across ACH/NACHA, RTP, RTGS, SWIFT, cross-border payments.
• Analyze payment lifecycle: initiation, validation, routing, settlement, reconciliation, exceptions.
• Analyze payment failures, rejections, and operational issues.
• Create business process maps, use cases, wireframes, and workflow diagrams.
• Assist QA in test scenario/case preparation.
• Validate function during SIT/UAT and support rollout/production support.
• Collaborate with business users, operations, compliance, and technology teams.
• Provide status updates and support project governance.
