Job summary

ShopBack in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst Intern for our Regional Payments team. You will work with Strategy & Planning to derive insights from data and help shape payment product strategies.

The role combines hands-on data wrangling, model design, and building dashboards, with close collaboration across functions. This 6-month internship requires strong SQL, basic Python, and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Commit to a full-time internship for 6 months.
• Write clean, structured SQL code with high performance.
• Experience with data visualization/BI tools is a plus.
• Foundational Python is a plus but not required.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Interest in Fintech/E-commerce is advantageous.
• Self-starter and able to work in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build understanding of data sources across product lines.
• Design and implement data models and dashboards to monitor metrics.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions end-to-end.
• Support management with ad-hoc data requests and analyses.
