This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for financial regulators, managing regulatory inspections, and ensuring compliance with cross-border payment regulations and financial crime requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance / Regulatory Affairs in regulated financial institutions.
• Experience with PSP/EMI/MSB licensing frameworks and regulatory submissions.
• Experience in cryptocurrency, digital asset, or VASP environments.
• Experience in Middle East or Southeast Asian regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory inspections, inquiries, audits, and supervisory engagements.
• Draft and maintain regulatory submissions, including Client Money Policies and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks for payment and fiat activities.
• Conduct due diligence and risk evaluations for payment-related business relationships.
• Support the expansion of payment licenses into new jurisdictions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, Operations, and Product teams.
