Job summary

Binance is seeking a mid-level Financial Crime Compliance professional to join the Sanctions Advisory team. The role focuses on leading sanctions compliance with strong problem-solving skills within a global fintech context.

You will work with cross-functional teams, monitor regulatory developments, and ensure effective control implementation across Binance's global operations, reflecting Binance values and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or JD/Masters in a relevant field.
• ACAMS or ACFCS certification preferred.
• 5+ years of sanctions compliance experience in a global financial institution.
• Solid knowledge of banking, payment or crypto compliance frameworks and controls.
• Ability to work across functional and geographic lines; strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Be the internal SME of sanctions compliance, including risks and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Global Head of Sanctions to advise stakeholders on sanctions risks.
• Monitor regional regulatory developments and translate into policy adjustments.
• Evaluate processes for sanctions risk identification, documentation and assessment.
• Ensure entities and employees investigate, mitigate, and remediate sanctions issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed sanctions controls.
