Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking a Patient Service Associate – Healthcare to support patient-service and hospital operations at Outram Park. You will assist with frontline patient services, registration, admissions, appointment scheduling, and bed-management activities across departments.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O-Level, Nitec, Higher Nitec, or diploma is required.
• Entry-level applicants are welcome to apply.
• Healthcare, hospitality, administrative or frontline customer-service experience is advantageous.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computer systems and handling administrative work.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Team player in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and professional assistance to patients and their family members.
• Handle patient registration, admission and appointment-scheduling processes.
• Respond to patients’ enquiries and provide clear directions or information.
• Coordinate with nurses, internal departments and other stakeholders.
• Update patient information accurately in the hospital systems.
• Support bed searches and assignments according to established procedures, where applicable.
• Assist with basic administrative duties and report preparation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare procedures.
• Perform other patient-service duties assigned by the department.
