Job summary

Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) invites applications for Ward Service Associate roles at JurongHealth Campus to deliver compassionate patient care and reliable food service across wards.

You will serve meals, check orders, assist with inventory, maintain cleanliness, and support nurses to meet patients' nutritional needs. A positive attitude, basic computer skills, and willingness to work staggered hours including weekends and public holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Has a passion for healthcare.
• Min GCE N level or its equivalent.
• Experience in Food & Beverages is an advantage; those without experience but with healthcare passion are welcome.
• Possess excellent customer service with a can-do attitude.
• Self-motivated, independent, proactive and able to work cohesively with fellow team members.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to work on staggered hours with rotational weekends, including one Saturday or Sunday a week to meet operational needs; shifts 7am–4:30pm or 10:30am–8:00pm; able to work on public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to the patients
• Serving of food and drinks to patients and clearing it once patients have finished their meals
• Checking food served against patient meal orders
• Assist in inventory management
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around workstation and strictly abide with health/sanitation regulations
• Assist nurses to meet patient's nutritional needs
• Maintains levels of confidentiality and discretion of the patients.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager
