Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring for a pastry kitchen role at Orchard, Singapore. You will prepare pastry ingredients, measure with precision, and craft doughs, mousses, tarts, pies, cookies and cakes under the guidance of the Patisserie Chef.

We expect 0–2 years of related experience, with 5.5 working days and attractive welfare. On job training and meal provisions are offered as part of the role.

Qualifications

• GCE O Level or above is required.
• 0–2 years of related pastry/kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all pastry ingredients and equipment for service.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes.
• Make dough, mousse, batter, tarts, pies, cookies and cakes.
• Layer and decorate pastries and cakes to spec.
• Follow Patisserie Chef's recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in stock taking of ingredients, utensils and supplies.
• Store and package ingredients neatly and cleanly.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain high personal hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Scope

• Preparation of all pastry ingredients.
• Prepare, weigh and measure ingredients with accuracy.
• Making dough, Mousse cream, batter, knee Tart, Pie, Cookies and Cakes.
• Layering and Decorating of Pastries and Cakes.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by Patisserie Chef.
• Assist in stock taking of ingredients, utensils, supplies and equipment.
• Store and / or package ingredients and products neatly and cleanly.
• Adhere to Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) of kitchen.
• Maintains high standard of personal hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness and safety of kitchen.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirement

• GCE O Level and above
• 0 - 2 years related experience
