Job summary

YAMAZAKI MAZAK SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated Parts Officer to join Service & Parts teams. You will interpret technical drawings, identify required components, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries.

The role requires reading and interpreting technical drawings, handling customer inquiries via phone and email, and maintaining precise inventory records with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and parts lists.
• Preferably with experience in a Parts Centre or similar environment.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and parts lists to identify components for repairs and maintenance.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email about parts availability, specifications and pricing.
• Prepare and issue quotations based on customer requirements and technical documentation.
• Process customer orders with accurate part numbers and quantities.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to arrange timely shipments and monitor delivery schedules.
• Generate shipping documents including invoices and delivery orders.
• Request quotations from suppliers and process purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in stock-taking activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
