Job summary

The Rationale Thinking Learning Centre Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a capable part-time English teacher to deliver Integrated Programme English for Year 1–4 students on Saturdays 5pm–9pm and Sundays 8am–2pm.

This in-person role is based at 213 Upper Thomson Rd, Singapore 574348. You will craft engaging lessons, mark student work, and provide feedback, with a focus on clear expression and exam-ready writing aligned to MOE IP standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching English at MOE Integrated Programme schools/NIE trained or experience in teaching in other established tuition centres
• Strong written English proficiency with the ability to write clearly and at an appropriate academic rigour for Integrated Programme English
• Self-directed, organised, and able to produce polished materials with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Conduct full lessons for Integrated Programme students on Paper 1 (Expository, Discursive and Argumentative Essays), Paper 2 (Comprehension) and Weighted Assessments
• Craft model essays, essay outlines, and structured writing guides tailored to Integrated Programme School syllabus
• Mark students' homework and give feedback to their works (Essay, Comprehension and Weighted Assessments)
• Deliver highly engaging, interactive, and impactful lessons that motivate students

Subject and levels:

• Integrated Programme (Year 1 to 4)

Location and format:

• Tuition centre location: 213 Upper Thomson Rd, #01-01, Singapore 574348


• In-person role


• Part-Time (Only on Saturday 5pm to 9pm, Sunday 8am to 2pm)

Schedule and commitment:

• Can work between 1-3 days a week


• Work a minimum of 4 hours per week


• Starting in November 2026 or January 2027

Responsibilities:

Compensation and perks:

• Salary: $60/hour to $75/hour
