Job summary

Write Edge Learning Centre (BC) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Part-time English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across multiple Singapore locations.

You will conduct small-group classes, follow a fixed timetable, and use prepared curricula to help students build strong English foundations. Applicants should hold a degree in English or related fields, with strong English communication skills and prior teaching or tutoring experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, Early Childhood Education, or related fields.
• Candidates currently pursuing a degree in relevant disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Prior teaching or group tutoring experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Singapore curriculum and assessment systems would be a plus.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and excellent communication skills.

Write Edge is a English enrichment centre specialising in writing and language programmes for Primary and Secondary students, with small class sizes and a structured curriculum designed to build strong English foundations.

About the Role

We are looking for like-minded people to join us as a Part -Time English Teacher across all our physical locations in Singapore! If you are passionate about English and want to explore a career in education, then we want you!

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes of small groups, up to 8 students.
• Facilitate teaching of 2-hour lessons according to scheduled timetable
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons using provided teaching materials and lesson plans
• Maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment
• Provide relevant feedback on students' progress when required
