Job summary

SAGES ACADEMY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a passionate English teacher to lead lessons for primary and secondary students. You should be confident across levels, able to scaffold learning, and motivate students of varying abilities.

The role is full-time in Woodlands and Yishun, with classes Wed-Fri 2-10pm, Sat 9am-5:30pm, Sun 9am-1pm. Candidates with MOE syllabus familiarity and experience will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with primary and/or secondary students.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with MOE syllabus and exam formats.
• Able to work evenings and weekends (based on class schedule).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with MOE syllabus
• Mark and review student work with actionable feedback
• Prepare students for major exams (PSLE, O-Level English)
• Communicate professionally with parents on student progress
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and supportive classroom environment
