Job summary

MyWay Academy in Singapore is seeking passionate part-time tutors across Mathematics, English, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Chinese to join our teaching team. You will teach in small groups or one-to-one, matching assignments to your subject expertise and experience.

We welcome tutors with MOE, IGCSE, IB or international school exposure and those who can commit to delivering high-quality, structured lessons that track student progress.

Qualifications

• Solid subject knowledge in the chosen teaching areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and commitment to student learning.
• Ability to teach independently and manage students effectively.
• Tutoring experience is an asset for placement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging one-to-one and small-group lessons.
• Prepare and deliver lessons according to students' levels and needs.
• Explain concepts clearly and strengthen subject knowledge and exam skills.
• Assign and review homework where appropriate.
• Provide constructive feedback on learning progress.
• Maintain lesson records and progress updates in Learning Hub.
• Communicate professionally with the academic and operations team.
• Use or adapt teaching materials provided by the centre.

About MyWay Academy

MyWay Academy is a Singapore-based tuition and enrichment centre supporting students from both local and international schools.

We provide personalised academic support through small-group and one-to-one lessons, with a strong focus on conceptual understanding, structured learning and measurable student progress.

As we continue to expand our programmes, we are looking for passionate and responsible Part-Time Tutors across multiple subjects and academic levels to join our teaching team.

Subjects We Are Hiring For

We welcome tutors specialising in one or more of the following areas:

• Mathematics

• English Language / English Literature

• Science

• Physics

• Chemistry

• Biology

• Chinese Language

Tutors with experience in other academic subjects are also welcome to apply.

Academic Levels / Curricula

Depending on your experience, you may teach students from:

• Singapore Primary / Secondary / JC

• PSLE / O-Level / A-Level

• AEIS / S-AEIS

• International School programmes

• IGCSE

• IB MYP / IB Diploma Programme

• Other international curricula

You are not required to teach across all levels or curricula. Teaching assignments will be matched according to your subject expertise and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong academic foundation in the subject(s) you wish to teach

• Relevant diploma, degree or professional qualification

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Responsible, punctual and committed to students' learning

• Able to teach independently and manage students effectively

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred

Experience teaching MOE, IGCSE, IB or international school students will be an advantage.

Current or former MOE / international school teachers, university students or graduates with strong subject knowledge, and experienced private tutors are welcome to apply.
