Job summary

The Curious Cat Academy Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a part-time Mathematics tutor to join our team. You will deliver engaging lessons across Primary to IB curricula, after-school and weekend sessions, and adapt materials to different learning styles.

We value passion for teaching, clear English communication, and patience. University degree preferred, experience welcome; compensation is hourly and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
• University Degree (Education or subject-relevant field preferred).
• Strong command of English and solid mathematical foundation.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring confidence in learners.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to student success.
• Able to teach after-school hours and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with MOE / IGCSE / IB syllabuses
• Simplify abstract concepts and strengthen students’ problem-solving skills
• Encourage logical reasoning, creativity, and confidence in Maths learning
• Adapt lesson materials to different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Mark assignments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and the Academic Head
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and new resource development

We are looking for dedicated and engaging tutors to join our growing team.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates based on experience and class size
