Job summary

The Singapore Red Cross Society is seeking an Outreach Associate for a part-time, hourly engagement to interact with the public, share SRC's humanitarian causes, and encourage support for fundraising initiatives.

You will work with the Team Leader toward individual and team engagement and fundraising targets, with growth opportunities and the potential for a 1-year full-time contract after six months based on performance and vacancies.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to approach and communicate with the public confidently.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage members of the public through face-to-face outreach and telephone calls to raise awareness of SRC's humanitarian causes and fundraising initiatives.
• Communicate SRC's programmes clearly and professionally, and encourage support for fundraising efforts.
• Work towards individual and team engagement and fundraising targets.
• Carry out administrative duties and participate in team meetings, briefings and training sessions as required.
• Contribute ideas and support outreach initiatives to strengthen donor engagement and experience.
• Represent SRC professionally and uphold humanitarian values and conduct standards.
• Respond to enquiries and feedback from the public and donors, elevating matters when necessary.
• Comply with SRC's fundraising procedures, donor engagement guidelines and data protection requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
