Job summary

GT Educational Institute Pte. Ltd. invites current university undergraduates to join us as Part-Time Tutors on a contract basis in Singapore.

You will conduct 1-to-1 and small-group tuition for IB and A-Level students, and may teach multiple subjects including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Economics. Candidates must be pursuing an undergraduate degree, hold IB Diploma or GCE A-Levels, be bilingual in English and Mandarin, and be able to teach face-to-face in Singapore with flexible

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at a recognised university.
• Completed IB Diploma, GCE A-Levels or International A-Levels.
• Strong academic results, particularly in the subject(s) to be taught.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Willing to conduct face-to-face lessons in Singapore.
• Able to commit consistently to agreed lesson schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-to-1 and/or small-group tuition for IB and A-Level students.
• Provide academic support for schoolwork, revision, examination preparation and past-year papers.
• Explain concepts clearly and effectively according to each student's learning needs.
• Prepare appropriately for scheduled lessons.
• Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Complete written teacher feedback after every lesson, including topics covered, student performance, progress and areas for improvement.
• Communicate professionally with the education centre regarding students' learning progress.

GT Educational Institute Pte. Ltd. is seeking academically strong and responsible current university undergraduates to join us as Part-Time Tutors on a contract basis.

We welcome candidates who have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or GCE/International A-Levels and have a strong academic foundation in one or more of the following subjects:

• Mathematics
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Economics

Candidates who are able to teach multiple subjects are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-to-1 and/or small-group tuition for IB and A-Level students.
• Provide academic support for schoolwork, revision, examination preparation and past-year papers.

• Patient, responsible, punctual and able to communicate well with students.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
