Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support complex legal matters across our global business. You’ll help manage disputes, insolvency, regulatory investigations, and discovery, working with cross-functional teams to move matters toward resolution.

The role requires a paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, plus strong organizational and communication skills. Office-based in Singapore with flexible local arrangements as needed.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of relevant litigation paralegal experience.
• Demonstrated judgment and ability to drive matters to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across organizational levels and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage bankruptcy and insolvency matters involving Stripe merchants in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, including filing proofs of claim, responding to requests from insolvency practitioners, and escalating matters that require attorney support
• Provide paralegal support for litigation and regulatory investigations, including fact investigations, issue analysis, discovery, and matter management
• Assist with all aspects of discovery, including implementing legal holds and collecting and producing documents
• Handle and respond to small claims matters globally
• Support overall matter management for the Litigation team
• Organize and maintain knowledge-management resources
• Contribute to special projects and adapt to changing priorities

About The Team

The Litigation team at Stripe works on complex technical and legal matters involving disputes, insolvency, litigation, arbitration, regulatory investigations, and other escalated issues. The team supports products and services that help businesses around the world grow.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you'll support the team on pre-litigation, litigation, investigations, and insolvency matters across a range of issues.

What you'll do

You'll support the Litigation team in managing disputes, insolvency, litigation, arbitration, and other escalated matters. You'll prioritize competing requests, build effective relationships with internal partners, and help the team respond to matters in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of relevant litigation paralegal experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior in-house experience as a litigation paralegal

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is SGD 100,000 - SGD 150,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings(“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
