Job summary

Lightverse in Singapore is seeking a skilled Panel Beater (Vehicle Body Repairer) to assess damages and repair scope, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition with specified tools and equipment. You will ensure high-quality workmanship and communicate progress to your supervisor.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am–5.30pm, with Saturday 8.30am–12.30pm; location is Kaki Bukit. The role requires attention to detail, problem solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Assess accident car damages and repair scope listing in collaboration with the Claims Advisor
• Repair damaged vehicles using specified tools to pre-accident condition
• Perform welding, pulling and adjustment on body structures with provided equipment
• Maintain high-quality workmanship before passing to next stage
• Inform superior of any damage not in the original work scope
• Deliver work within stipulated repair time and update progress to supervisor

Panel Beater (Vehicle Body Repairer)

Salary

$3000 - $4000

Job details

• Assist the Claims Advisor to assess accident car damages and repair scope listing
• Repair damaged vehicles, using specified tools, to pre-accident condition by removing dents/rust, replacing or repairing parts and structural damages, etc.
• Perform welding, pulling and adjustment on body panel structures and frames using Jigs & Fixtures or Chassis Alignment & Computerised Measuring equipment provided
• Ensure and maintain a consistently high quality of work before passing on vehicle to the next repair stage/personnel
• Inform the Direct Superior and/or Claims Advisor on any damage(s) that is not included in the original work scope
• Deliver work within stipulated repair time
• Regularly update the Direct Superior and/or Claims Advisor on job progress and elevate immediately on foreseeable delay
• Where applicable, carry out aluminium repair work only within assigned area using appropriate extraction equipment
• Give maximum care to vehicle using exterior and interior protective covers (including floor and seats)
