Job summary

Coim Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an hands-on Packaging Operator to support daily silo and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. You will operate bagging, granule packing, and weighing machines, ensuring safety, quality, and timely output.

The role involves data recording, stock checks, and coordination of maintenance activities. Familiarity with silo and resin-to-bag workflows is beneficial, and a forklift license is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• GCE A/O levels or ITE Certificate required.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with silo operations, bagging machine operations, resin-to-bag workflow and resin/granule handling is advantageous.
• Forklift license would be an added advantage.
• Ability to prioritise tasks based on urgency.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging systems and related processes per SOPs, ensuring safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
• Support and maintain daily silo/packaging/bagging operations to meet output targets and production schedules.
• Record all relevant data related to packaging operations accurately and in line with internal standards.
• Identify and report non-conformities in packaging materials to maintain quality standards.
• Carry out small batch blending operations following correct formulations and handling procedures.
• Report abnormalities, incidents and near misses; participate in investigations when required.
• Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning and participate in maintenance activities and start-up/shut-down of sections.
• Operate forklifts safely to handle internal movement of packaged and bulk materials.
• Coordinate and support export processes with accurate documentation.
• Conduct stock-takes and maintain inventory records for packaged and bulk materials.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging system (bagging machine/granule packing machine/automatic weighing and filling machine), plant equipment and related processes as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines
• Support and maintain daily silo/packaging/bagging machine operations of granules or pellets, ensuring output targets and production schedule are met
• Record all relevant data related to packaging operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards
• Identify and report any non-conformities in packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met
• Carry out small batch blending operations, following correct formulation and handling procedures
• Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses. Participate in further investigation when required
• Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, participate in maintenance activities and shut-down/start-up of sections
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to handle internal movement of packaged/bagged and bulk materials
• Coordinate and support export processes, ensuring the correct materials are dispatched with accurate documentation
• Conduct stock-takes and maintain accurate inventory records of both packaged/bagged and bulk materials

About you

• At least GCE "A/O" levels or ITE Certificate
• Relevant experience in manufacturing or packaging environment would be an added advantage
• Familiarization with silo operations/ bagging machine operations/ resin-to-bag workflow/ resin or granule handling would be an added advantage
• Possessing a forklift license would be an added advantage
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency
• Able to work under fast-paced environment
