Job summary

HP Singapore (Private) Limited is seeking a Packaging Engineer to design, qualify, and deploy packaging solutions across multiple product lines. The role collaborates with Business Units, R&D, manufacturing sites, QA, Marketing, Procurement, suppliers, and NPI teams.

The engineer will lead cost-reduction, design optimization, and sustainability initiatives, applying expert judgment to address complex challenges with independent leadership on projects.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-4 years of work experience in engineering design, manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with packaging testing, qualification, and supplier engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Execute packaging validation, testing, and qualification activities.
• Support NPI and sustaining engineering efforts.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and product teams.
• Drive cost, material, and process optimization initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.
