Job summary

TANGLIN CORPORATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a P&M Engineer to assist the P&M Manager in operating the Plant & Machinery Department for leasing, servicing and maintenance of heavy machinery.

You will support deployment and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Responsibilities include planning and supervising site deployment and maintenance, attending to machinery break downs, coordinating with customers and vendors, testing and commissioning equipment, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction site experience, preferably in machinery rental operations.
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent and detail oriented.
• Understanding of concrete pump and station pump is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend to machinery breakdowns and provide resolutions.
• Liaise and coordinate with customers and vendors for site works.

Job description

The P&M Engineer’s primary role is to assist the P&M Manager in the operation of the Plant & Machinery Department for leasing, servicing & maintenance and deployment of heavy machineries in compliance with policies and procedures.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Plan and supervise teams of machinery operators and workers in carrying out deployment of machinery, site operations, maintenance works for machinery & equipment both in workshop and on sites.
• Attend to machinery breakdowns and provide resolutions.
• Liaise and coordinate with customers and vendors for the execution of site works.
• Manage site testing and commissioning new machinery and equipment.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with customers or Main Contractors for all site operational matters.
• Ensure site operations complied with all safety regulations and requirements set out by the Main Contractors at site.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant construction site experience preferably in machinery rental operations.
• Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent and detailed oriented
• Good understanding of concrete pump and station pump will be most desired.
