Job summary

UMELIFE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Data Center & AI Compute Infrastructure Lead to oversee overseas data center and GPU projects across SEA, the Middle East, NA and other markets. You will manage end-to-end delivery, from planning through commissioning and integration of GPU clusters.

The role requires leadership of complex deployments, collaboration with contractors, authorities and partners, and willingness to travel for overseas assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, data center engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant data center or AI/GPU infrastructure project experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects from planning through commissioning.
• Experience with high-density GPU infrastructure and data center systems.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overseas data center projects from site assessment through handover.
• Manage high-density AI/GPU deployments and GPU cluster integration.
• Oversee power, cooling, liquid cooling, networking, and safety infrastructure.
• Coordinate EPC/MEP contractors and suppliers and local stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Center & AI Compute Infrastructure Lead to oversee the delivery of overseas data center and GPU infrastructure projects across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North America and other international markets.

The role will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including infrastructure planning, construction, deployment, commissioning and GPU cluster integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overseas data center projects from site assessment and design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage high-density AI/GPU infrastructure deployments, including NVIDIA H100, H200 and B300 systems.
• Oversee power, cooling, liquid cooling, networking, fire protection and other critical data center infrastructure.
• Manage EPC/MEP contractors, equipment suppliers and local stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and GPU cluster installation and integration.
• Work with local authorities, utilities and partners on approvals, power capacity and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality, safety and delivery risks.
• Develop standardized data center deployment processes, acceptance standards and supplier management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Data Center Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in data centers, IDC, AI/GPU infrastructure or related engineering projects.
• Proven experience managing projects from planning through construction and commissioning.
• Practical knowledge of high-density GPU infrastructure, power systems, cooling and/or liquid cooling.
• Experience working with data center contractors, suppliers and technical teams.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with overseas contractors, suppliers and business partners.
• Willingness to travel and undertake overseas assignments when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering data center projects in Southeast Asia, the Middle East or North America.
• Experience with NVIDIA DGX, H100, H200 or B300 deployments.
• Experience with liquid-cooled or high-density AI data centers.
• Experience working with data center operators, utilities, industrial parks or colocation providers.
• Experience in overseas engineering contracts and supplier management.
