Job summary

Gravity Team in Singapore is seeking an OTC Trader to own the crypto/fiat spot OTC trading vertical and drive immediate PnL impact. You will develop strategies, manage hedging, and optimize settlement across multi-exchange flows.

The role requires 5+ years in spot trading or OTC desks, deep market microstructure knowledge, and strong Python/Rust skills to build and monitor trading infrastructure. FX knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Job description

At Gravity Team, a quantitative proprietary trading firm, we are on a mission to balance supply and demand across crypto markets around the world.

We're looking for a high-performance OTC Trader with deep experience in crypto/fiat spot markets, someone who's ready to own their vertical and make an immediate PnL impact. FX experience is a very nice to have.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Develop and iterate trading strategies for spot crypto/fiat OTC markets, with a focus on price discovery and deliverable settlement.
• Build and optimize predictive models and signals for execution, hedging, and post-trade analysis of spot and OTC flows.
• Execute and manage spot arbitrage trades through to deliverable settlement, coordinating inventory availability (balances), internal transfers, withdrawals/deposits, and post-trade reconciliation to ensure smooth settlement and minimize fails.
• Own the OTC trading pipeline — from rate tracking and quoting logic to monitoring and deployment.
• Collaborate on improving fiat hedging and OTC settlement logic across banking rails and crypto venues.
• Analyze market microstructure and execution performance to improve Sharpe and reduce slippage on large, illiquid, or bilateral OTC tickets.
• Help evolve our asset allocation logic — we actively manage assets and fiat/crypto inventory across 30+ exchanges and OTC counterparties daily.
• Manage counterparty relationships and credit lines, ensuring efficient settlement and minimal counterparty risk exposure.

What We Expect

• 5+ years of experience in spot trading, OTC desks, or proprietary trading (crypto or traditional).
• Prior work in a fiat market making, OTC settlement, or spot trading environment.
• Hands‑on experience trading crypto/fiat OTC markets and deliverable settlement.
• Solid experience in hedging logic, managing fiat settlement flows, or optimizing asset rebalancing across multiple exchanges and counterparties.
• Deep understanding of market microstructure and how to design systems that extract edge from OTC and bilateral flows.
• Strong ability to analyze PnL, post-trade statistics, and fine‑tune strategies to optimize Sharpe ratio, turnover, and drawdowns.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, applied statistics, and predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with Rust is a valuable advantage.
• Able to design and maintain robust trading infrastructure, including real-time monitoring, execution diagnostics, dynamic parameter tuning, and automated risk controls.
• Knowledge of forex markets, FX instruments, and price discovery for various currencies is a very nice to have.
