Job summary

Cumberland SG PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Trader to combine risk management, research and technology to execute cryptoasset trading strategies.

You will manage counterparty relationships and execute trades, working closely with experienced traders, business development teams and quantitative researchers to identify trading opportunities and manage the cryptoasset portfolio. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field; strong analytical skills.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with market making in crypto assets is preferred.
• Ability to analyze large data sets using probability and statistics.
• Proficient in Python, C++, or C with good coding practices.
• Adaptive, self-motivated and able to handle fast-paced environments.

You will be tasked with managing counterparty relationships and executing trades. You will work closely with experienced traders, business development teams and quantitative researchers to help identify trading opportunities and manage the cryptoasset portfolio.

What you bring to the team…

• A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, computer science or related field.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to deploy those skills during time-sensitive situations
• Market making experience for crypto currency on exchange or bilaterally
• A deep curiosity of analysing large data sets using your knowledge of probability and statistics
• Familiarity programming in Python, C++, C or similar languages
• Are adaptive, self-motivated, enjoy challenges and significant responsibility, and thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments
• Can advocate for your perspectives on trading strategies and risk in a concise manner to the team
