Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) in Singapore is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to support CIM and related manufacturing systems, ensuring BAU activities align with SLAs and production needs. You will perform database monitoring, RMAN backups including cloning, expdp/impdp, partitioning, LOB management and SQL tuning to keep Oracle databases operating efficiently.

Qualifications

Solid hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments and BAU support.
Proven experience managing L1 and L2 DBA tasks (incident handling, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery).
Strong knowledge of RMAN, AWR/ASH/ADDM, SQL tuning and Oracle performance optimisation techniques.
Practical experience with expdp/impdp, partitioning, advanced compression, LOBs and related Oracle features.

Responsibilities

Act as Oracle DBA for CIM and related manufacturing systems.
Ensure effective BAU support activities in line with internal customer needs and SLAs.
Perform database monitoring, session management, lock analysis, long-running query handling and hung session resolution.
Manage L1 and L2 DBA tasks, including incident handling, root cause analysis and preventive actions.
Perform backup and recovery using RMAN, including database cloning.
