Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an Optician to join our retail team in Singapore. You will conduct eye tests, dispense eyewear, and provide expert advice to customers in a busy clinic shop environment.

The role requires MOH board registration, weekend availability, and previous retail experience. Salary ranges from SGD 3,100 to SGD 3,300 per month, with a standard 5-day work week and shifts from 9:30am to 8pm.

Qualifications

• Registered Optician with MOH board.
• Retail experience is an advantage.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye and vision tests.
• Dispense eyewear and contact lenses as prescribed.
• Provide professional advice and solutions to customers.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Advise customers on proper eye care techniques.
• Maintain records of prescriptions, work orders and payments.
• Perform inventory tracking, sales tracking and basic bookkeeping.
• Ensure smooth daily shop operations.

Job Description

• Eye and vision tests
• Dispensing
• Provide professional advices and solutions to customers
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Advise customers on proper eye care techniques
• Maintain records of customer prescription, work orders and payments
• Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, submitting patient insurance information and performing simple bookkeeping
• Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations and adhoc duties

Requirements

• Registered as Optician under the MOH Optometrists and Optician Board
• Retail experience will be advantage
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
