Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is hiring an Optician for our retail team in Choa Chu Kang. You will perform eye and vision tests, dispense eyewear, and provide expert advice to customers to determine the best solutions.

Responsibilities include prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, maintaining prescription/work order/payments records, and handling inventory and simple bookkeeping to keep daily operations running smoothly. Must be MOH registered, with weekends/public holidays work ability.

Qualifications

• Registered Optician with MOH Optometrists and Optician Board.
• Retail experience is an advantage.
• Able to commit retail hours, including weekends/public holidays.

Job Description:

• Eye and vision tests
• Dispensing
• Provide professional advices and solutions to customers
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Advise customers on proper eye care techniques
• Maintain records of customer prescription, work orders and payments
• Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, submitting patient insurance information and performing simple bookkeeping
• Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations and adhoc duties

Requirements:

• Registered as Optician under the MOH Optometrists and Optician Board
• Retail experience will be advantage

• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
