Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Optician to support eye care services in a busy retail setting. You will perform eye tests, dispense eyewear, and advise customers on vision solutions, while maintaining accurate records and handling payments.

Applicants must be registered with the MOH Optometrists and Optician Board and be able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays. Located at 144 Teck Whye Lane, Singapore 680144.

Qualifications

• Registered as Optician under MOH Optometrists and Optician Board.
• Retail experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye and vision tests and dispense eyewear.
• Provide professional advice and solutions to customers.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Advise on proper eye care techniques and maintain prescriptions.
• Maintain records of prescriptions, work orders and payments.
• Perform inventory, sales tracking and simple bookkeeping.
• Ensure smooth daily shop operations and adhoc duties.

Salary: $3100 -$3300

Location: 144 Teck Whye Ln, Singapore 680144 (CCK)

Job Description:

• Eye and vision tests
• Dispensing
• Provide professional advices and solutions to customers
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Advise customers on proper eye care techniques
• Maintain records of customer prescription, work orders and payments
• Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, submitting patient insurance information and performing simple bookkeeping
• Ensure smooth running of daily shop operations and adhoc duties

Requirements:

• Registered as Optician under the MOH Optometrists and Optician Board
• Retail experience will be advantage
• Able to commit retail hours
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
