About the role

Atlas Eye Specialist Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Optician to join our healthcare team in the Downtown Core Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional eye care services to our patients. As an Optician, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilising your expertise to ensure accurate dispensing of optical products and providing support to our ophthalmologists and optometrists. Key responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using advanced optical equipment and techniques
2. Assess and manage patient refraction requirements in accordance with clinical protocols
3. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
4. Support clinical staff during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
5. Contribute to a welcoming and professional clinic environment that prioritises patient safety and comfort
6. Maintain knowledge of current optical products, technology, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification as a registered Optician with relevant professional credentials and registration with regulatory bodies
2. Proven experience in optical dispensing and patient care within a healthcare setting
