Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in engineering and at least 2 years of experience, with proficiency in OpenCV, HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro, and programming in C++, C#, or Python; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in vision applications.
• Experience with vision libraries such as OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro, or HIK.
• Programming in C++, C#, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications for inspection and measurement, including defect detection.
• Decide on selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of vision components (PCs, cameras, lighting).
• Configure vision systems (host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, interfaces) for optimal performance.
• Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Evaluate system performance specs and prepare documentation and training.
• Explore and implement new vision technologies in projects.
