Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Process Engineering Lead to mentor a multi-disciplinary team in a cleanroom environment.

You will champion continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma, and plan engineering projects to hit budget, schedule, and performance targets. You will manage root-cause analyses, support FAT/FAI, and collaborate with Design Engineering to deliver manufacturable, high-quality optical, laser, and fiber products while applying DFM to maximize

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Optical/Materials/Mechanical/Precision Engineering or Physics/Chemistry.
• 7+ years in process engineering; 3+ years in leadership within manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading optical, laser, or fiber product development and manufacturing.
• Strong track record with DOE, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop a high-performing team in mechanical, laser, and fiber assembly.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and related improvement projects.
• Plan and manage engineering projects to meet budget, schedule, and performance targets.
• Oversee testing strategies, FAT/FAI, and customer communications for escalations.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to drive manufacturable product designs.
• Apply DFM principles to optimize quality and yield.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards compliance (ISO/AS standards).
