Job summary

EXCELITAS TECHNOLOGIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a mechanical engineer to develop manufacturing workflows for ultra-clean product assembly in semiconductor and life science applications.

You will transfer and industrialize new processes for optical fiber assemblies, implement cleanroom specs, and optimize procedures to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Collaboration with R&D, Process Engineering, Production, and Quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in mechanical engineering or manufacturing process development in semiconductor/precision industries is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analyses, and engineering drawing interpretation is essential.
• Experience with BOMs, routing, master data, and engineering documentation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design manufacturing process workflows for ultra-clean product assembly in semiconductor and life science applications.
• Industrialize new manufacturing processes for optical fiber assemblies and related products.
• Implement cleanroom process specifications to ensure stable production and quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members to enhance assembly processes.
• Translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions and detailed manufacturing documentation.
• Create engineering drawings, BOMs, routing, and SOPs for prototype and production builds.
• Support prototype assembly, product validation, testing, and transition to mass production.
