RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join our clinic in Novena, Singapore. You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, refractions, and contribute to pre- and post-operative assessments for laser vision correction and cataract surgery.

Experience with OCT, corneal topography, biometry and visual field testing is an advantage. Applicants must hold a Diploma or Degree in Optometry and be registered with the Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB) in Singapore.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Optometry is required.
Current registration with the Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB) in Singapore or eligibility.
Knowledge of refraction, contact lens fitting and common ocular conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and refractions.
Assess visual function and prescribe appropriate optical correction.
Conduct pre- and post-operative assessments for laser vision correction, cataract surgery and other ophthalmic procedures.
Perform diagnostic investigations including OCT, corneal topography, biometry, pachymetry and visual field testing.
Accurately document clinical findings and maintain patient records.
Educate patients on eye conditions, treatment options, surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Work closely with ophthalmologists, nurses, optometrists and administrative staff to support smooth clinic operations.
Participate in professional development, clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Receive comprehensive training in advanced ophthalmic diagnostic technologies.
