Job summary

SINGAPORE NATIONAL EYE CENTRE PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an Optometrist to join the SNEC Optometry Service Team. You will perform objective and subjective refraction, conduct binocular vision assessments, and participate in preliminary examinations to support doctors' clinical management.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Optometry with 5 years of relevant experience, is registered with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board, and can educate patients on vision care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Optometry with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Registered with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board.
• Willing to work at other clinics when required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team; proactive and independent.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective and subjective refraction.
• Conduct basic binocular vision assessments, such as cover test and ocular motility test.
• Perform preliminary examinations, such as colour vision and pupillary assessment.
• Educate patients on vision status, proper vision care, and usage of various optical aids.
