Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking candidates for an ophthalmic diagnostics support role. You will assist ophthalmologists with eye investigations, conduct basic tests, and document results to support accurate patient assessments.

Ideal applicants will hold a Diploma in Biomedical Sciences or related fields, be computer-literate, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with patients to enhance their experience. Training will be provided in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of eye anatomy or ocular conditions is an advantage.
• Computer literate, organized and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable and willing to learn.
• Enjoy interacting with patients and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists with eye investigations to support assessment and diagnosis.
• Conduct basic ophthalmic tests across subspecialties, including glaucoma screening.
• Operate relevant equipment and ensure investigation results are properly documented.
• Update and maintain patient database records with accuracy.
• Work closely with the clinical team to support smooth daily operations.
• Develop technical competencies in a fast-paced environment and take on other duties as assigned.
