Job summary

VEROTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a technician to assemble RF/MW cables and learn soldering through a 3 to 6 month training program. After training, primary duties will be soldering and other process tasks, with overtime when required.

Candidate should have ITE engineering qualification or equivalent and may gain exposure to lab equipment such as a Vector Network Analyzer and Hipot tester. Singapore-based, on-site position.

Qualifications

• ITE engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in RF/MW cable assembly and familiarity with label printers and test equipment (e.g., Vector Network Analyzer, Hipot tester) is advantageous.
• Experience in soldering electronic products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble RF/MW cables and Soldering.
• Prepare cables (cut, strip, crimp, shield, measure).
• Perform visual self-inspection.
• Test RF/MW assemblies with VNA per specs.
• Follow safety and housekeeping rules.
• Read and interpret RF cable drawings.
• 3 to 6 month soldering training program with potential travel to China for advanced training.
• After training, main duties will focus on soldering and related process tasks.

• Prepare cables (cut, strip, crimp, shield, measure).
• Perform visual self-inspection.
• Test RF/MW assemblies with VNA per specs.
• Follow safety and housekeeping rules.
• Read and interpret RF cable drawings.
• Candidates are expected to commit to a 3 to 6 month soldering training program. Outstanding candidates during this period may be given the opportunity to travel to China for advanced soldering training.
• Following the 3 to 6 months soldering training, the main duties will primarily involve soldering work, as well as other process related tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

• ITE engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in RF/MW cable assembly, and familiarity with label printers and test equipment (e.g., Vector Network Analyzer, Hipot tester) are advantageous.
• Experience in soldering electronic products is preferred.
