Job summary

WANCO MANPOWER PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a motivated Operator (Soldering) to join a growing technology company specializing in RF and microwave solutions. Location is North-East; permanent employment with office hours 8.30am – 5.30pm.

The role focuses on soldering and RF cable assembly, with training provided. Initial 3–6 month soldering training programme, with potential travel to China for advanced training.

Qualifications

• ITE Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in soldering electronic products.
• RF/MW cable assembly experience advantageous.
• Familiarity with VNA/Hipot testers is advantageous.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble RF cable assemblies and perform soldering work.
• Prepare cables through cutting, stripping, crimping, shielding and measuring.
• Perform visual self-inspection on completed work.
• Test RF/MW assemblies using VNA according to specifications.
• Read RF cable drawings.
• Follow safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Commit to a 3–6 months soldering training programme.
• Outstanding trainees may have the opportunity to travel to China for advanced soldering training.
• After training, the main duties will primarily involve soldering and other process-related tasks as required.
