Job summary

Barry Callebaut Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Operations Quality Assurance Lead for a 6-month maternity cover. The role focuses on implementing quality management systems, conducting routine floor checks and supporting root cause analysis for daily issues.

The candidate will oversee GMP/GWP adherence, CCPs, OPRPs, sanitation, and pest control while training teams on quality procedures and driving continuous improvement. Strong HACCP knowledge and GFSI training are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology or food science or engineering with QA experience.
• Minimum 5 years in food safety and HACCP training.
• Formal training in GFSI standards (FSSC22000 or BRC) is preferred.
• ASQ certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills, with proficient Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor checks, ensure GMP, GWP and regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality incidents, root cause analysis and CAPAs as needed.
• Conduct daily checks on production, packaging, and warehouse areas.
• Provide OJT on quality procedures to manufacturing teams.
• Analyze quality data and report trends to the quality group.
• Support audits and food safety incident responses.
