Job summary

Barry Callebaut Chocolate Asia Pacific Pte Ltd seeks a Process Specialist to lead chocolate production lines, set up and operate equipment, and ensure safe, efficient manufacturing. You will support quality checks and maintain records while guiding a team for daily output and continuous improvement.

The role requires Nitec/Higher Nitec in Food Science/Technology, fluent English, and GMP/food-safety awareness.

Qualifications

Nitec/Higher Nitec in Food Science/Technology or equivalent.
Ability to understand and converse in English.
Food Safety and Hygiene-1 certification is required for this role.
Basic knowledge of control system and operation of PLC.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain production equipment to meet daily output.
Set up and prepare production equipment for chocolate lines.
Follow production schedules ensuring output targets are met.
Monitor production quality and perform regular quality checks.
Maintain cleanliness of the working environment and safe practices.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and work with maintenance to resolve malfunctions.
Maintain production records for raw materials, packaging and finished products.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and adjust machine parameters as needed.
Lead production operators to achieve good quality products and daily targets.
