Job summary

Klay in Singapore is seeking a detail-focused Operations Associate to support day-to-day client onboarding, trade lifecycle management, settlements, and reconciliations within a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will collaborate with internal teams, custodians, and clients, contribute to process improvements through automation and AI, and help monitor KPIs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational activities, including client onboarding, trade lifecycle management, settlements, reconciliations, and exception resolution.
• Assist in ensuring accurate, timely, and client-focused delivery of operational services.
• Perform operational checks and reconciliations, identify exceptions, and escalate issues in line with procedures and controls.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, custodians, and external service providers to support seamless service delivery.
• Support compliance with KYC/AML, regulatory, and internal requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging AI and automation to streamline workflows.
• Assist with operational reporting, KPIs, and governance activities while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Job description

Support the day-to-day Operations function to ensure efficient client onboarding, trade execution support, settlement processes, operational controls, and continuous process improvement. The role provides an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of financial services operations while contributing to operational excellence, risk management, regulatory compliance, and technology-enabled process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational activities, including client onboarding, trade lifecycle management, settlements, reconciliations, and exception resolution.
• Assist in ensuring accurate, timely, and client-focused delivery of operational services.
• Perform operational checks and reconciliations, identify exceptions, and esc… issues in line with established procedures and controls.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, custodians, and external service providers to support seamless service delivery.
• Support compliance with KYC/AML, regulatory, and internal operational requirements.
