Job summary

Green Link Digital Bank in Singapore seeks an Operations Officer to strengthen card operations and payment settlement processes. You will establish SOPs, manage reconciliations with Visa/Mastercard, and oversee dispute resolution while ensuring compliance and timely execution.

You will perform AML checks, support ad-hoc initiatives, and collaborate with Product and Operations teams to maintain high service levels and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 4 years of prior work experience in banking operations or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and risk and control requirements.
• Experience in card operations and related processes.
• Good communication, multi-tasking and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish SOPs for the new Card business and coordinate with Product teams.
• Perform daily clearing and settlement reconciliation with Visa/Mastercard and GL accounts.
• Reconcile Nostro and Securities Custody accounts on a regular basis.
• Manage end-to-end dispute resolution and chargebacks in line with timelines.
• Support ad-hoc projects and participate in UAT testing for Card products.
• Perform AML checks and raise STR when required.
• Verify signatures on manually submitted applications.
• Provide cross-functional support within Operations as needed.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure service levels and quality in end-to-end delivery.
• Identify opportunities for continual process improvements.

Job description

Green Link Digital Bank is Singapore's inaugural wholesale digital bank focusing on supply chain finance, mainly serving MSMEs and aiming to help MSMEs grow and improve digitization.

We are looking for Operations Officer to grow our business.

Responsibilities

• Help establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the new Card business and work with Product teams as the SME for Operations department.
• Perform daily clearing and settlement reconciliation with payment schemes (VISA/Mastercard) and internal General Ledger (GL) accounts. Investigate and resolve settlement breaks.
• Performing daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of Nostro and Securities Custody accounts.
• Dispute Resolution(Chargebacks): Manage the end-to-end dispute resolution process. Review customer transaction disputes, initiate chargebacks where applicable, and ensure compliance with VISA/Mastercard dispute timelines and regulations.
• Provide support for ad-hoc projects (Run and change) on behalf of the department in relation to Card products and to participate in UAT testing.
• Perform first level AML check for all transactions (SWIFT Screening, Oracle, IHS) and raise STR when required.
• Perform signature verification for manual application submitted by the customer.
• Provide cross functional support within the Operations department when required.
• Work with relevant stakeholders on delivery of business performance and ensure daily adherence to service level and quality standards in end-to-end delivery of services.
• Identify opportunities and initiate suggestions for improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of prior work experience in similar function in banking industry.
• Strong awareness of KYC/AML regulations and full understanding of Risks and Control requirements.
• Strong working compliance knowledge in card operations.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable card products and best practices of card processes.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to multi-task while staying detailed oriented and having effective time management skill.
• Ability to work independently while being an effective team player, with ability to manage work under pressure.
• Technological orientation with proficiency in MS Excel VBA an added advantage
