Job description

Key Information:

  • Basic + AWS + Bonus

  • 5 day work week (8am to 5pm)

  • Work location at Tuas, 2-way company transport at Joo Koon MRT

  • Prior working experience from metal or manufacturing industry are highly preferred

  • Candidates with short notice or able to join in Jan 2026 will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations including receiving, storage, order processing, shipping, and logistics.

  • Ensure effective production scheduling and competitive production lead times.

  • Oversee quality processes, ISO compliance, and initiate corrective actions when needed.

  • Improve workflow, plant layout, equipment utilisation, and overall operational efficiency.

  • Lead the annual Physical Inventory Count and ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.

  • Monitor trade compliance and ensure alignment with customer requirements.

  • Manage budgets, recommend capital needs, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

  • Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, and safety standards.

  • Lead and develop the operations team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and talent development.

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and maintain positive labour relations where applicable.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, or related field.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/industrial operations with supervisory or managerial responsibility.

  • Strong understanding of workflow and process optimization.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.

  • Solid project management capability.

  • Knowledge of LEAN or Six Sigma preferred.

  • Familiarity with Oracle and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Candidates with short notice or able to join in Jan 2026 will be an added advantage.
