Job summary

THK POWERTOOLS (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Operations & Logistics Supervisor to oversee regional logistics coordination, inventory monitoring, shipment tracking, and operational reporting for Singapore and regional markets (KL, VN, Bangkok).

The role requires strong data analysis, Excel reporting, and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders across Southeast Asia to ensure timely inventories, smooth shipments, and accurate management reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or operations.
• Experience in import/export and shipment coordination is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data reporting skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders across different countries.
• Experience working with regional Southeast Asia teams will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly inventory reports for Singapore and regional markets.
• Consolidate and compile data from the regional monthly reporting.
• Monitor sales trends, inventory levels, stock movements, and variances.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and clearly presented for management review.
• Coordinate with regional teams to obtain and validate required information.
• Review and track GIT reports and monitor shipments in transit.
• Follow up with suppliers and logistics partners on delays or outstanding shipments.
• Highlight potential delays and supply issues to management.
• Coordinate and track import/export shipments from origin to destination.
• Monitor ISR and customs clearance status and document permits.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations & Logistics Supervisor to oversee regional logistics coordination, inventory monitoring, shipment tracking, and operational reporting. This role will be responsible for supporting Singapore operations while coordinating inventory and logistics activities across key regional markets, including Kuala Lumpur(KL), Vietnam (VN), and Bangkok.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working across multiple currencies and functions to ensure timely reporting, smooth shipment movements, and adequate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Inventory Reporting

• Prepare and maintain monthly inventory reports for Singapore and regional markets.
• Consolidate and compile data from the regional monthly reporting.
• Monitor sales trends, inventory levels, stock movements, and variances.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and clearly presented for management review.
• Coordinate with regional teams to obtain and validate required information.

2. GIT (Goods in Transit) Reporting

• Review work done by Logistic Executive on the GIT (Goods in Transit) report.
• Monitor shipments that are in transit and ensure shipment status is accurately reflected.
• Follow up with relevant teams, suppliers, and logistics partners on delayed or outstanding shipments.
• Highlight potential delays, discrepancies or supply issues to management.
• Check regions forecast via Purchase Order
• Prepare PO for suppliers CCO submission.

3. Import & Export Shipment Tracking

• Coordinate and track import and export shipments from origin to final destination.
• Handle Import Shipment Register (ISR) and monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and customs clearance status.
• Review Permit declaration and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proactively follow up on shipment delays or issues to minimize operational disruptions.

4. Inventory Planning & Stock Management

• Review inventory requirements for Singapore and regional markets.
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential overstock or stock-out risks.
• Coordinate replenishment activities based on sales trends, inventory levels, lead times, and market requirements.
• Work closely with sales and regional teams to understand upcoming demand and inventory needs.
• Recommend appropriate stock levels and replenishment actions to management.

5. General Operations Coordination

• Support day-to-day logistics and operational activities across Singapore and the region.
• Coordinate with internal departments and regional teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and stock availability.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to reporting, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Perform other operations and logistics duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or operations.
• Experience in import/export and shipment coordination is preferred.
• Good understanding of inventory management and stock planning.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders across different countries.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Experience working with regional teams in Southeast Asia will be an advantage.
