Job summary

SCB-JULIUS BAER (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a back-office professional to support the MIS and regulatory reporting functions for Singapore and Hong Kong booking centres.

You will handle data extraction requests, prepare MIS reports, and ensure timely regulatory submissions. The role requires a degree in banking or related discipline and 2+ years in banking, with strong MS Office and data extraction skills; VBA/SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified and minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in Banking or related discipline.
• Proficiency in MS Office software, macros and end-to-end knowledge of private banking value chain.
• Experience with data extraction from various systems; VBA/SQL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Being part of the back-office operations for data extraction, MIS, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate data extracts for regulators, audits and monthly management information.
• Set up market rules and manage OTC Derivatives reporting steps.
• Support subaccount opening and participate in User Acceptance Testing when required.
• Collaborate with internal partners on data requests, audits, and regulatory submissions.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Being part of the back-office operations in the area of Operations Control for Singapore and Hong Kong Booking Centres primarily for supporting the MIS and Reporting function
• Responsible for data extract requests from Operations, Monthly management information and statistics reporting, supporting data extracts for regulatory submissions / surveys / audit, maintenance of static tables, preparing MIS reports, setting up market rules and HKTR / DTCC OTC Derivatives reporting.

YOUR CHALLENGE

KEY FEATURES and accountabilities

Client Management (internal & external)

• Close collaboration with internal partners and relevant departments on for data extraction, MIS, audit and regulatory request for data

Business Management

• Work with various stakeholders to coordinate extracts, MIS, data for regulators / audits
• Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports for OTC Derivative products to regulatory bodies
• Set up of market rules and handle the approving of trades from the Pretrade Validation queue
• Take care of subaccount opening for Trade Processing and Corporate Action team
• Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing when required

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Work with the relevant teams in fulfilment of regulatory requirements
• Ensure data extraction is done/provided on a need-to-know basis with appropriate approvals taken with checks and balances when providing the data
• Complete mandatory trainings

• Candidate with relevant experience in VBA/SQL will be an advantage
