Job summary

COFCO Futures (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an orderly post-trade operations analyst to support clearing, settlements, and regulatory reporting within a regulated financial services environment.

You will collaborate across Trading, Risk Management, Finance, Compliance and external service providers to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in clearing, settlement, operations, or post-trade functions within financial services.
  • Experience in capital markets, derivatives, brokerage, or financial market infrastructure is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with exchange trading rules, operational controls, and reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory framework for capital markets intermediaries; exposure to other international regulatory regimes is a plus.
  • Experience supporting new operational process or system establishment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through operational tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to support U.S. time zone requirements on an irregular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily trade clearing, settlement and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of post-trade processing.
  • Process daily margin calculations, account reconciliations and operational reports, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
  • Support the maintenance and reconciliation of client asset records and operational accounts in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Support account management activities, including the accurate and timely entry of client information during account opening and the ongoing maintenance of account records, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare daily, monthly and periodic operational reports, and assist with regulatory reporting and management information as required.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and ensure proper documentation, filing and record retention in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Monitor exchange operational notices, settlement procedures and market changes, and support the implementation of operational updates where required.
  • Work closely with Trading, Risk Management, Finance, Compliance and external service providers to ensure efficient settlement processes and timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Support internal audits, external audits, regulatory inspections and information requests by preparing operational documentation and coordinating responses.
  • Participate in operational process improvements, system implementation and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and control.
  • Support system maintenance activities, including regular system upgrades, testing and validation, to ensure the stability and operational readiness of operational systems.
  • Perform other clearing, settlement and operational responsibilities assigned by management.

Job Summary
