Job summary

SimpleAI in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Product Operations professional to align the operational side of our product business with the delivery of accounting services across portfolio companies. This role is built for someone who fixes problems rather than writing memos.

You will coordinate with portfolio companies and clients to drive adoption of our agents, maintain SOPs, and report on usage and metrics while supporting offshore delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years in operations, practice management or client delivery.
• Working knowledge of accounting workflows; qualification not required.

• Clear written English; able to run meetings and follow up.

Job description

We build AI agents for accounting, finance, fund administration and HR workflows. We develop and own the agents that own the processes. We are small, we move fast, and we are building something the accounting profession has never had before.

The Role

You will work directly with the COO and hold two things together: the operational side of our product business, and the delivery side of our accounting services business with our portfolio companies. This is a hands on role. It suits someone who would rather fix a problem than write a memo about it.

What you will do

Product Operations

• Be the gurus of the agents we develop and deploy.
• Coordinate closely with portfolio companies and clients that are utilising our agents, to ensure our team is providing support in the adoption and implementation of our agents.
• Keep internal documentation, SOPs and training material current as the products change
• Track usage and adoption metrics and report on them fortnightly.
• Coordinate delivery across accounting, corporate secretarial and fund administration engagements across functional teams and/or portfolio companies.
• Manage the workflow between portfolio companies and offshore team members
• Handle client communication on status, queries and escalations
• Coordinate and manage the backend operations of our portfolio companies.
• Standardise how each portfolio company reports into the group, so the numbers arrive on the same calendar and in the same format
• Act as the operational point of contact for portfolio company finance and administration staff, and elevate the COO when something needs a decision
• Improve margin per engagement by identifying the steps our own agents should be taking over from people

What we are looking for

• 1 to 3 years in operations, practice management or client delivery. Agnostic about specific industry so long as you are hands-on.
• Working knowledge of accounting workflows. A formal qualification is not required.
• Genuinely curious about AI and willing to use agents in your own work every day
• Clear written English. You can run a meeting and follow up without being asked twice
• Comfortable with ambiguity. In a company our size the process often does not exist yet, and you are the one who writes it.
