1. Production Planning & Coordination
- Assist the Plant Director in preparing daily and weekly production plans.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and QA to ensure materials are available.
- Monitor production schedules and highlight delays or bottlenecks.
- Track production progress and update planning status.
2. Data Entry & Reporting
- Enter production, inventory, and manpower data into ERP System (Microsoft Business Central) or Excel where applicable.
- Prepare daily production reports and KPI dashboards.
- Maintain records for raw materials, finished goods, wastage, and downtime.
- Generate reports for management meetings.
3. Site Operations Support
- Conduct routine factory walkthroughs to monitor housekeeping and GMP compliance.
- Follow up on corrective actions from production, QA, maintenance, and safety teams.
- Assist in coordinating maintenance schedules and shutdown activities.
- Monitor operational issues and elevate them to the Plant Director.
4. Inventory & Material Control
- Monitor raw material and packaging stock levels.
- Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure timely material issuance.
- Assist with stock reconciliation and inventory accuracy.
- Support cycle counts and stock audits.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production records.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure production documents are completed accurately.
- Support food safety and quality management systems (HACCP,GMP, ISO/FSSC if applicable).
6. KPI Monitoring
- Update and monitor key performance indicators.
- Prepare trend analyses and recommend improvement opportunities.
7. Project & Continuous Improvement
- Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing and 5Sinitiatives.
- Track project timelines and action items.
8. Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings and prepare presentation materials.
- Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Coordinate communication between departments.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Plant Director.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in food manufacturing
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
